A bit of relief for Mzimuhle residents.

ShopRite U-Save is currently under construction at Buhlebesizwe 2 ext — ezitandini ezisha, between Mzimuhle and Buhlebesizwe. Once complete, residents will finally be able to walk to the shops and buy their groceries at U-Save, a welcome convenience for the community.

A R10 Billion Township Development Is Coming

Beyond the new U-Save, an even bigger development is on the horizon. A R10 billion project by MEGA — in partnership with Chief Somphalali and Thembisile Hani Municipality — is yet to start construction works, with groundbreaking expected in January or February 2027.

The project stretches from R544, opposite Shidyhardware, towards Vriesgevaagt. It is a massive township development set to create many jobs and business opportunities for local people.

Approved and Ready to Roll

The project has already been approved, and residents are counting their blessings. As one community member put it: "We are fortunate to be Mzimuhle residents."

From everyday shopping convenience to long-term economic opportunity, the future is looking bright for Mzimuhle and the greater KwaNdebele community.
